Seafood dish is amazing here, surprised us everyone.

Pisco sours were excellent and the atmosphere was a lot of fun.

Unfortunately the food was not authentic, and lacked the real flavor of Peru. But as long as your ok with that and a little bit of Asian flavors mixed in and changes to the recipe, its fine. For example the anticuchos appeared deep fried and tasted soft like slow cooked steak. The lomo saltado, was beef steak on top of french fries in a bowl (no purple onion, no tomatoes or rice), and finally the pollo a la brasa had an asian spice flavor and was almost rubbery in texture like it was being reheated. Sorry all these things led my group to walk away with just saying it was OK.

Absolutely wonderful in every way. The service was impeccably kind and attentive, and the ambience immediately transports you to a lush rainforest. The food is genuine craftsmanship: very fresh, expertly prepared, and bursting with complex flavours and textures.

It's on the pricier side, yes, but absolutely warranted. In fact, we found the prices quite reasonable for Singapore, a city where show often outweighs substance, and where you can easily pay the same for far inferior quality.

This Peruvian restaurant at Dempsey Hill offers a delightful introduction to Peruvian cuisine with its wide variety of dishes. Even as a first-timer, I found the food incredibly delicious and surprisingly easy to enjoy. The standout for me was the ceviche — incredibly refreshing, with a burst of flavors that highlight the freshness of the seafood. The taste is beautifully balanced, with just the right amount of sourness, sweetness, and natural brininess from the seafood.

What made the experience even better was the super friendly staff. Their warm hospitality and attentiveness added a welcoming touch, making the whole dining experience not just enjoyable, but memorable. Definitely a place worth visiting again!

Had my birthday dinner here and it was great. The restaurant is very nice, lots of greenery. The food was all fabulous. I don't even eat dessert, but my husband ordered the tres leches cake so my family could sing happy birthday to me. Since it was at the table, I tried it, and it was delicious!!! Not overly sweet, just perfect. A month later my parents came to visit so we took them here for their last dinner before heading home. Again, all dishes were delicious!! And, of course, we ordered the tres leches again! Canchita has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Singapore!

Each private room in our Dempsey event space may accommodate 50-80 guests. Indoor dining hall capacity depends on which of our rooms is chosen.

Are reservations limited to only corporate events?

No, you can make a reservation and host any private events you'd like. Whether they're birthday parties or sit down dinners, you can rent out a private dining room for us to serve you and your guests.

Can the menu be customised to accommodate dietary restrictions or preferences?

Yes, please contact us in advance so that we have time to prepare alternatives for guests. Please note that many items on our menu contain seafood and shellfish.

DO YOU PROVIDE ANY CORPORATE EVENT PLANNING SERVICES OR ASSISTANCE?

Yes, we provide event coordinating services, along with our rental spaces and diverse menu, in order to give you a stress-free and fabulous corporate dinner. Decorating services are available upon enquiry, and additional fees may apply.

How far in advance should I book the venue for my next corporate event?

We recommend making reservations as soon as possible, in order to secure your preferred date. Please reserve at least 1 month in advance.
