Good food … something different ..

Special mention to our server, although I didn't get her name, she was very pleasant, friendly and helpful.

Amazing food, especially the Ceviche which is the best I've tasted in Singapore. The tuna tostada was also tasty and balanced. The duck taco had a weird taste as they put pineapple salsa. Gives it a plastic taste, so order only if you like this combination of duck and pineapple. The prawn omelette was very tasty but felt overwhelming with strong flavours in the egg (probably milk and butter) and strong flavour in the prawns with adobo sauce. We ordered the Valentines Day special pesto pasta and that was a winner. Loved the chewy bite of the pasta and the light taste of the sauce.

For our Valentine’s Day, we decided to celebrate at CANCHITA - Peruvian Cuisine restaurant, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. We were pleased to secure a booking and were even more delighted when they showed us to our seat—a cozy corner spot that gave us a sense of privacy, despite the lively atmosphere. The view was stunning, and the table was spacious enough for several sharing plates, making it ideal for a special occasion.

We ordered their Valentine’s special starter - the Oysters were amazing and delicious. The Wagyu flank steak, while decent, it didn’t particularly stand out. However, the seafood rice more than made up for it—it was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. We wiped the plate clean without hesitation. For dessert, we had the strawberry shortcake, which was a light and refreshing way to end the meal. We also tried their Valentine’s Day cocktails, and both were fantastic.

The staff were incredibly attentive and made the experience even better with their warm and friendly service. Overall, we highly recommend this spot for a romantic date night. If possible, request a corner seat for a more intimate and private dining experience while still soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.

The food at CANCHITA – Peruvian Cuisine is bursting with authentic flavors, especially the Ceviche and Lomo Saltado, which were perfectly cooked and delicious. A must-visit for anyone craving fresh, flavorful Peruvian dishes!

Delicious food and great service from Audrey, very nice ambience in the lower area. Loved the decor with a jungle feel, staff uniform also blended in well. The wine list reasonably diverse and showcases more Argentinean and Spanish wines. Very Instagrammy and draws in the crowds. Peruvian food isn't common in Singapore, a great niche!
